It looks like the Yankees may have stolen the US soccer team’s mojo. Down 6-2 in the 9th Inning against their new faux-rivals, the Dodgers, the Yankees came screaming back, scoring four runs off closer Jonathan Broxton, and then capping off the win in the 10th Inning with a two-run shot off pitcher Greg Sherrill by Robinson Cano for the win [or FTW! as the kids say]. But the planning by Yankees’ hitting coach Kevin Long leading up to Cano’s at-bat was a feat of psychological warfare rivaling…other famous feats of psychological warfare…
