Offseason Blues: Agents, Contracts, and 2nd Chances
Yesterday, Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told the media that he has been re-evaluating his lifestyle and says that he is excited to have a shot at a second chance. Though never officially charged, Roethlisberger has been accused twice of rape, which has brought great shame on his team and his family (it is rumored that Mike Tomlin left a tanto in front of Roethlisberger’s locker, but not understanding the significance, Big Ben brought it home to add to his culinary ware). Roethlisberger is now trying to rebuild his tarnished image, part of which will involve trying to create a better relationship with the media. Typically brusque around reporters, Roethlisberger says he wants to be more accessible. He ended the meeting by permitting reporters to ask him two questions.
Randy Moss is Free Man:
Randy Moss has recently fired his agent and says he is on the market for someone new. His personal says that he enjoys mooning fans, squirting officials with water bottles, and getting high and playing Madden games where he is all the players on the field.
Revis Sees Dollar Signs:
In the world of Darrelle Revis, the Jets have shredded his contract and offered him a massive pay increase based on the recommendations of Rex Ryan and due to the fact that he is awesome. In the real world, none of this is confirmed, and with all the free gent signings the Jets made this year, money might be a little thin, even though Revis is one of the best.
