Warren to Finish Education

New England Patriots’ defensive end Ty Warren has skipped out on the voluntary offseason training for the first time in his career, passing up on an extra $250,000 in order to attend college. He is taking classes at Texas A&M in agricultural leadership and development.

Says Mr. Warren (ESPN):

I try to put the kids in the best educational system possible and I think there is something to be said for their father, who has been blessed to play in the NFL and do something he’s loved to do, going back and finishing what he started.

Upon arriving at Texas A&M to begin his classes, Mr. Warren found that the tuition had been raised by $250,000, and he could no longer afford it.
